Snapshots from Today
Sasha got a haircut today. Also, a new sweater that is easier to put on. While exchanging a jacket for Nathan, I came across this poncho for Cressalyn. With hat and gloves the set of 4 pieces was only $4!! I couldn't pass it up! Don't my girls look gorgeous?
While this is not the coldest in the United States, we are only 2 degrees warmer than Watertown, WHICH IS the coldest place in NY State! I'm thinking of getting boots for Sasha. I saw some today and she really is not fond of frozen paws!Tuesday, January 23, 2007

Kids Winter Fun Day
We made penguins and baked them to take them home!
Some look more like penguins than others!
We made snowflakes! Just like snowflakes, God made us one of a kind!
Just for fun, we raced each other in cup stacking!
Then 2 of the BIGGEST kids decided to challenge each other! I don't think one of them was playing very fair!It was great fun!
Please pray for one of our girls who came for the day. Later that night she fell in her driveway at home and broker her collarbone!

The Gathering '07
We have seen Tim Hawkins, who is a Christian comedian, before at a Children's Pastors Conference. We have a DVD and CD of his, too. It was a great surprise to find out he was going to be at The Gathering! We laughed and laughed! Then after the service I asked if he would be willing to let us get our picture with him...for our kids! He agreed! My he's tall!
Robin Mark was the worship leader for the conference. Now, I had come across his name before but really hadn't made a connection with him and his music. Boy, do I have one now! He's awesome! He's from Ireland and has written many worship songs including one of our most favorite, "Days of Elijah." I now have other favorites that are his!Norm & Penny are in our district.
Cheri & Randy are in MI at the church we were at before we came to NY.
We are glad to be home. It was good to get away. Let the new year begin!
