How Was YOUR Easter?

We had a great day! In spite of the fact we had blizzard-like conditions for most of the day, we had a great day! 4 new souls were added to the Kingdom! How cool is that?? And the kicker.....on Tuesday 6 were added as well!!! So that makes 10 from our little congregation of believers! Whoo hoooooo!!!

Ken had handed out commitment cards a couple weeks ago for us to write the number of those we would be praying would make a decision for Christ by Easter. The numbers ranged from 2-7. God blessed us with 10!


We also had a new lily cross that Doug had made for us! He did this from only a sketch that I made from talking with my brother, who's church was having one made as well. Our space is very limited and we didn't get pictures of Paul's until Doug had begun the construction of ours. He did an awesome job! It was so gorgeous with the lilies! And the scent of the flowers wasn't over powering! (My thoughts went to my dear cousin, Robin, who cannot be near flowers! Poor girl!!)

At CWC we had 1,018 in attendance and 75 that came forward. A bridge was built that went from the floor up to the stage area that stopped right in front of the cross that is on the back wall below the screen. It was beautiful. It was a very moving service!!!!!

If you're speaking of this cousin Robin, she actually has no problem with flowers! Had them in her hospital room the whole time she was there!

I love the lily cross! How beautiful and what a great idea (I've seen that for used for poinsettias, but how appropriate for Easter!!) thanks for sharing...
